Introduction

How important is a website’s design? Well, a website’s design plays a vital part on a website as it greatly impacts a user’s experience on the site, Having a proper website with effective navigation, eye-pleasing texture, and overall good design can greatly leave users with a positive perception of your business. The internet is forevermore changing at a rapid speed and to adapt to the internet, people will also need to be forever changing at a rapid speed. In my blog, I’m going to be going over 5 signs that show that your website is outed and needs changing with a redesign.

1. Low Conversion Rates

Low conversion rates are usually a sign of a poorly designed website or an outdated website. poorly designed and outdated websites are the ones that fail to reach a users engagement which leads to businesses not building credibility or positive impressions which are vital for a business to grow in a positive direction. A website redesign can look into the whole website and check for outdated features such as slow loading speed, broken and confusing navigation, broken links & images, and overall design.

2. Outdated Content

Wow! It’s such a surprise that outdated content means that your website needs a redesign is what you must be thinking. But my friend I’m going to be more in-depth about this process a website that has outdated content can ruin your credibility with your users, drive away potential customers, give out false information, and can give your website a bad reputation to first-time visitors and old visitors, A website that’s up to date with fresh and trendy content can grow faster and be more trustable as more people are likely to share it and google is more likely to recommend it to people because of the user engagement.

3. Poor Responsiveness

A website needs to be responsive to all platforms! If a website can’t properly fit various types of devices how does it plan to cater to the audience that has those devices? In today’s diverse digital world where there are over 2000+ different kinds of devices, it’s essential for a business to have a responsive website. If a website doesn’t have a responsive design it usually also has distorted layouts and confusing navigation with a website redesign all the problems described here would be solved and the website would grow as websites that are responsive to all devices are pushed more by Google to be seen by people through search engine optimization (SEO).

4. Competitor Advancements

As I stated in my introduction, the internet is a forevermore changing platform, it changes rapidly and so we must all also change in order to adapt. What is adapting? Well, the term adapting means to adapt and Google states that to adapt is to “become adjusted to new conditions.” User’s expectations of websites are molded by seeing the latest enhancements when users see these enhancements they expect all websites to adapt and contain these enhancements. Users usually stay with the websites that contain these enhancements as they are trustable, quick to adapt, and are seen as more interactive if your website falls behind on adapting while your competitors don’t your business is likely to suffer the consequences that’s why website redesigns occasionally are important.

Conclusion

In my blog I went over various of reasons that indicate when a website needs to be redesigned such as if a website has a Low Conversion Rate if a website has a low conversion rate it fails to reach user engagement which leads to businesses not building credibility or positive impressions, if a website has an outdated design it can lead to bad credibility and little user engagement, If a website has poor responsiveness it closes opportunities for most people to enjoy your website and last but not least a website should always try and stay updated with the latest technology, features, and trends as people and google recommend websites that are fresh and trendy!
